First Presbyterian Church is a growing congregation made up of people from a variety of backgrounds. We are at different places in our faith journeys, and enjoy learning alongside one another about God and how God wants us to live. Come visit us - everyone is welcome. We worship a living God who calls us to love and support one another. Together we can do marvelous things – and grow closer to God and one another along the way.

Our hearts are full of joy and excitement that David A. VanderMeer has accepted the position of Minister of Music and Fine Arts and will begin on July 15, 2019. David arrives from Central Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, where he served for 18 years as the Minister of Music and Fine Arts. Our prayers are with all those at Central who will say God speed to Dave and Brent, and with our family of faith that will open wide their arms and hearts to them. Our staff is over the moon! Our musicians are all abuzz with the great news, and choir members on Mackinac Island this weekend even erupted into shouts of joy. What blessings! +
